The Black Crowes were originally scheduled to be the opening act on Aerosmith’s farewell tour. But that tour had to be canceled due to Aerosmith’s retirement from performing because of frontman Steven Tyler’s severe larynx injury. So, the Black Crowes took matters into their own hands and the Atlanta rock band scheduled their own headlining US tour. The Crowes announced their new run of live dates on Instagram, captioning their post: “The Bastards Are Back!! Announcing NEW dates added to The Happiness Bastards Tour (The Reprise) this fall! Due to the cancellation of the Aerosmith Tour, we also had to move a few of the previously announced show dates and unfortunately have to cancel the Tucson, Wenatchee and Verona shows. We can’t wait to get back out on the road! 🤘” The revamped Black Crowes US tour gets stared in Northfield, Ohio on September 27, and concludes with a two-night stand in Port Chester, New York on December 21 and 22.
