On Friday (April 11), My Chemical Romance announced that they will celebrate the 21st anniversary of their iconic second album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, with a deluxe reissue that will be released on June 6. The set’s four bonus tracks are all from a BBC Radio 1 live session in 2005, including performances of hits like “I’m Not OK (I Promise)” – which the band just shared to promote the upcoming reissue – and “Helena.” The reissue also offers a remixed and remastered version of the album by Grammy-winning producer Rich Costey, along with new album art commissioned by the band. The deluxe version of Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge – which came in at No. 10 on Rolling Stone’s list of the 40 Best Emo Albums of All Time – will be available on CD, digital, and various colored vinyl editions. MCR is gearing up to perform their acclaimed album, The Black Parade, in full during a highly-anticipated summer stadium tour, which kicks off on July 11 in Seattle and finishes on September 13 in Tampa.
